Science in a Nutshell

I am really enjoying the Science kit - Science in a Nutshell. I'm not sure who's enjoying it more - me or the students. This week 1st-3rd focused on living and nonliving things. From the time I let them explore what was in the Science kit until the present, everything is an "AHA!" moment. They cannot wait to get back to STARS to see what new thing has happened to the poly crystals or the mung beans. They are so excited because overnight to them seems to be an eternity until they return. They all want to be helpers just to get an up close view of what has taken place during the night. It makes me excited to see that they are so interested in Science and that they are excited about learning new things. I am truly inspired by the work I have done this week! Thanks Erica C. for the kit, and the chance to wake up my newly Science inspired students!!!!
